The MFJ-407D electronic keyer is a microprocessor controlled electronic keyer that provides iambic key operation and memory for easy code transmission. It has adjustable code speed, code weight, side-tone frequency, and supports both direct and gate block outputs. Connecting a double key allows you to use the iambic mode. In this mode, you can insert a dot before the end of a dash or insert a dash before the end of a dot. In addition, pressing both palettes automatically generates dots and dashes manually. Or, you can use a right key and manually generate your own points and dashes. Use automatic mode with a single or double paddle and generate dots and dashes automatically by pressing the paddle. You can switch to semi-automatic bug mode to automatically generate dots and dashes manually, or you can use a right morse code key and manually generate your own dots and dashes. You also get dot-dash memory, auto-completion dots and dashes, jam-free spacing, and instant start capture. Select type A or type B to match your mailing style. The weight control allows you to adjust the ratio of the space between the dots and the dashboard so that your signal is distinct from the bust, and you can also compensate for the turn-on time of your amateur radio transmitter. The MFJ-407D electronic joysticks have an adjustment switch to adjust your transmitter or antenna tuner. They are RF-proof, have a built-in speaker for side tones and solid-state and tube-type transmitters.
