ICOM Handheld Earhook Headsets are the ultimate in lightweight portability. Similar to the headsets frequently worn by communications professionals, these headsets are supported by hooking over-the-ear, while an extended boom microphone grabs every word you say.
By adding an adapter cable for your VOX-enabled radio, or by adding an accessory VOX Controller for radios without built-in VOX, you can operate in Voice Operated Transmit mode for total hands-free convenience. Just speak to transmit! Ideal for use at hamfests, shopping districts, or just going afield, these earhook headsets are a great addition to any ICOM handheld transceiver.
