The Ameritron ALS-1306 semiconductor HF amplifier builds on the legacy of its renowned predecessor ALS-1300. It is difficult to improve an excellent product, but to increase the value of the amplifier, Ameritron has extended its amplifiers ALS-1300 to include 6 meters and rename them ALS-1306. You can now adapt your HF amateur radio platform to a full coverage amplifier with 1,200 watts of output power and continuous coverage from 1.5 to 54 MHz (160 to 6 meters) without any adjustment. These amateur radio HF amplifiers utilize eight state-of-the-art TMOS MRF-150 RF FETs operating at 50 V in a dual-ended push / pull parallel output configuration. The 5-pole broadband low-pass filters provide superior output harmonics suppression to all FCC requirements. High quality RF components, a precise peak detection directional coupler, a front-adjustable ALC circuit with automatic SWR fallback function and a single-switch frequency selector make the ALS-1306 HF amplifier the easiest power use. Their corresponding separate power source is supplied at the factory for a 240 V 50/60 Hz power supply, but is easily converted to 120 VAC operation.
